Since August 10th, Sichuan Province has experienced the strongest continuous rainstorm since the flood season. No matter from the precipitation range, precipitation intensity or duration, this rainstorm is a rare continuous rainstorm.

On July 30th, a mudslide occurred from Azhai Station to Baiguo Station in chengdu-kunming railway. On August 30, heavy rain raged between the big and small Liangshan mountains. After receiving the emergency rescue support request, chengdu-kunming railway Project Department held an emergency meeting to study the emergency rescue plan. "I have participated in flood fighting and rescue, and I know the terrain best, and I am party member, so I must charge first!" He Junxian volunteered to undertake the rescue mission. At this time, he has been fighting for nearly half a month in the front line of flood fighting and emergency rescue.

Danger waits for no one, time is life. He Junxian had no time to think about it, so he began to organize personnel, machinery and materials overnight. After intense preparation, He Junxian and other rescue team members came to the railway station to stand by in order to rush to the disaster relief site in time.

On the eve of his departure, he couldn’t worry about his family. He specially called his wife Li Xiaoyue. "My son will be a senior in high school the day after tomorrow, so he must work hard. My mom had a meningioma operation on September 3, and I can’t go. How hard it is for you! " This slightly apologetic phone call became the last farewell between He Junxian and his wife.

On the morning of August 31, He Junxian and others who stayed up all night drove to the rescue site. Emergency rescue is to seize time. Chengdu-kunming railway Double Track, for which He Junxian gave his life, is a key project in the 13th Five-Year Plan for the development of the western region of China. After completion, it will greatly facilitate people to travel along the line, and play an important role in improving the railway transportation network in Sichuan Province and promoting the development of characteristic resources and industries along the line.

Cheng Kun is difficult, relying on mountains and cliffs; Cheng Kun is in danger, and falling rocks are frequent.

The construction of chengdu-kunming railway double track is not an easy task. Almost all vehicles in chengdu-kunming railway Project Department have been hit by falling rocks. Although Li Xiaoyue has some grievances, she also understands. She often educates her son and says, "Although your father doesn’t earn much money, he earns practically. Although he is ordinary, he is involved in national key projects. You must study hard and live up to your father’s ardent expectations! "

At the beginning of this year, affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, the national economy was hit. In order to respond to the call of the country to resume work and production, and get through the southwest economic artery as soon as possible, He Junxian ended his vacation early and took the lead in returning to the project department to organize the resumption of work and production. "To get back the delayed construction period, we are confident to complete the task as scheduled!" He Junxian said.

In the depths of Yuezhishan Tunnel in chengdu-kunming railway, He Junxian led the workers with pneumatic drills, riveting their strength to drill into hard rocks. The 14,085-meter-long Yuezhishan Tunnel lies between Chengdu Plain and Daliangshan Mountain, and the tunnel passes through the mountainside, which is the key control project of the whole line. Yuezhishan Tunnel is a difficult and high-risk project in the whole line, and it is also one of the control projects in Emei-Miyi section, with harsh geological conditions, fragile ecological environment and great construction difficulties.

In order to ensure the safe progress of Yuezhishan tunnel project and facilitate the coordination and solution of construction problems at any time, He Junxian works on the spot, and a board room, a camp bed and a desk are his battlefields. He lined up with the workers to cook and follow the class. He stuck to the scene and repeatedly adjusted the process. When he was tired, he took a nap in bed and woke up and went on working. He Junxian set an example and played a leading role as a pioneer in party member, which greatly boosted the morale of colleagues around him.

In order to determine the construction plan, he is often busy until midnight. When he met the construction period of the node and the key process, he stared at the scene for hours. In the rainstorm, it was damp and cold in the board room, so he couldn’t sleep at all. He Junxian simply went into the cave to inspect. Long-term overtime and fatigue have made this Hunan man’s skin dark and his voice hoarse.

During the epidemic prevention and control period, the project department reversed the construction period, occupied enough space and time, ensured "grasping with both hands, being hard with both hands and winning with both hands", and accelerated the construction and production. In order to ensure the construction safety and speed up the project progress, He Junxian firmly grasped the "double insurance" of safe construction and optimized the construction organization and technical scheme. He combined the excavation class and the erection class into one, strengthened the scheduling and implemented the reward and punishment system, so that the lining of one board could be completed in five or six days, and it was optimized to two days.

What is deeply engraved in He Junxian’s life is not only the five-year struggle in the depths of Liangshan, but also the eight-year persistence under the vast Gobi in the Middle Tianshan Mountains. In the middle of Xinjiang, there is a mountain range that stretches thousands of miles from east to west. This is the famous Tianshan Mountain. It is this natural barrier that hinders the traffic in southern Xinjiang and northern Xinjiang. Getting through Tianshan Mountain is the only way for Xinjiang to set up a "fast track".

In April, 2007, the second line from Turpan to Korla of South Xinjiang Railway was started, and China Railway 18th Bureau Group Co., Ltd won the bid for the second line project, with a total length of 32.387 kilometers. Among them, the middle Tianshan extra-long tunnel is 22.452 kilometers long, and it is constructed by full-face hard rock tunnel boring machine, which is the longest railway tunnel in the history of railway construction in China at that time.

In order to fight the battle of Zhongtianshan Tunnel, China Railway 18th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. decided to send the best management force, scientific research personnel and construction team. As a member of the "elite troops", He Junxian arrived at the Zhongtianshan Tunnel Project Department in the first batch.

Zhongtianshan Tunnel is located in the barren hills of Gobi, with harsh natural environment, featuring high geostress, high temperature, high humidity and high pressure and rich water. The geological environment is complex and changeable, and the high water burst pressure is rare in China, rockburst and rock pushing occur from time to time. The working surface in the tunnel is extremely humid and the water quality is highly corrosive. Tunnel construction is located in temperate arid climate zone, which is dry and rainy, cold and windy in winter, and the temperature difference between day and night is large. In summer, the daytime temperature is as high as 43 degrees Celsius, and the temperature outside the cave is as low as MINUS 28 degrees Celsius in winter, so the construction environment is extremely difficult. Various construction problems, such as reverse slope drainage of long tunnels, converge, and the construction difficulty is rare in China.

China Railway 18th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. owns the "Golden" signboard of full-face hard rock tunnel boring machine. With a total length of 256 meters and a single machine cost of 360 million yuan, the roadheader is the most advanced mechanical equipment in the construction of long tunnels in the world. The monthly tunneling records of 509 meters and 551.818 meters were set in Qinling Tunnel and Taohuapu No.1 Tunnel respectively. This type of roadheader is used in the construction of Zhongtianshan Tunnel.

Most of the people involved in the construction of the Zhongtianshan tunnel are newcomers. He Junxian tilted his main technical force to the full-face hard rock tunnel boring machine through the old and the new. He improved the level of organization and management, set up driving classes, tool classes, transportation classes and other classes, and centralized the management of three previously opposing driving classes under the management of a deputy manager of the project department to strengthen process control and process connection.

Due to the extremely poor surrounding rock condition, the tunnel boring machine collapsed 1 meter when driving, and the construction workers were helpless for a while, and their morale was very low. He Junxian went to the scene to direct at 7 o’clock every morning, and stayed in the tunnel with technicians and construction team leaders every day, repeatedly observing and discussing together. This stayed for a week, and finally worked out the appropriate construction scheme and technical measures.

Once there was a rare strong rock burst in the tunnel, and stones flew about, so everyone was too scared to go in. Just after the shock wave, He Junxian was the first to rush to the scene. When everyone saw it, they rushed in regardless of the danger. The workers all said, "We really admire such a leader who takes the lead and is not afraid of safety!"

A series of measures have made the tunneling machine faster and faster, creating a record of 33.3 meters in a single day and 503 meters in a month. In the early morning of February 28, 2014, the Zhongtianshan Tunnel was double-lined. On December 28, 2014, the second line of Turpan-Korla, a southern Xinjiang railway, officially opened for freight transportation; On February 1, 2015, passenger transport was officially opened.

In the eight years of fighting in southern Xinjiang, He Junxian was the first to go and the last to go, eating and living in the first line, fighting rock burst, controlling water gushing and paying attention to safety. He was busy in the Gobi desert day and night, making great contributions to the opening operation of the second line from Turpan to Korla, and accumulated successful experience for the safe construction of the extra-long railway tunnel of China Railway 18th Bureau Group Co., Ltd.

He Junxian is nicknamed "Little Blackboard". People who have never seen him think that he is black and thin. In fact, the "Little Blackboard" is not black, but he is used to giving lessons to front-line employees on the blackboard with markers, and the requirements are strict, so he has this nickname.

In chengdu-kunming railway Project Department, no matter at the entrance of staff dormitory or canteen, there is a small blackboard in every place where He Junxian stayed.

With the advancement of the chengdu-kunming railway project, various tasks are getting busier and busier. In order to avoid mistakes and further improve everyone’s awareness of work safety, He Junxian asked all work areas and departments to sort out their work priorities and work plans in time every day and write them on the blackboard to remind everyone of the direction of work that day. According to the overall arrangement of the construction period, let everyone set a small goal every day and work together to complete the production task, so as to knock on the blackboard, draw the key points and ensure the performance.

Since the construction of the chengdu-kunming railway project started, He Junxian has visited Teke Tunnel, Yibu Double-track Bridge and other worksites for many times to give lectures to workers, and often gathered the first-line technicians at the entrance of the cave for meetings to teach the key points of safety construction technology through small blackboards.

"Speaking of tunnel construction technology, he is always a few treasures, with clear ideas and easy-to-understand language. We have benefited a lot from listening to it and greatly improved the construction progress! " A construction team leader recalled.

For a period of time, the progress of Yuezhishan tunnel project could not go up, and He Junxian saw it in his eyes and was anxious. Without waiting for the workers to get off work, he took the small blackboard directly to the tunnel to explain. Sometimes, even if it is a short break after lunch, he will take the small blackboard, draw a schematic diagram, and explain the safety construction problems that need to be paid attention to in each process, and explain how to connect the processes more effectively.

Under the impetus of He Junxian, the chengdu-kunming railway project ensured the construction progress and safety at the same time by implementing the training disclosure of the tunnel "micro-step" technology, standardizing the working standards and strengthening the safety control of the process.

For some time, the Yuezhishan tunnel project always failed to complete the established workload, which affected the progress of the project. His small blackboard has played a role again, and the dormitory area, canteen and conference room have all become his temporary classes.

After the actual investigation, He Junxian demanded the full implementation of smooth blasting. Draw a simple schematic diagram through the small blackboard to tell everyone how to arrange the surrounding blastholes, how to control the charge, what different countermeasures are needed for different surrounding rocks, and so on. The simple explanation made everyone feel overwhelmed, and the construction process connection and process control level of the project tunnel were improved, and the Yibu Tunnel and Maqu Tunnel were connected safely one after another.

With the help of He Junxian’s on-site guidance, the double-side heading method was used to construct the large-span section of the third line of the Teke Tunnel, which successfully crossed the bad geology and faults such as limestone, sandstone and karst, and ensured the safety and quality of the large-section tunnel construction. In the construction of No.1 and No.2 transverse tunnels in Teke Tunnel, through continuous optimization and improvement of drilling and charging procedures, smooth blasting has achieved good results, and the residual eye rate is over 90%, which has been praised by many tunnel experts.

In recent years, the small blackboard seems to be full of magic for people in chengdu-kunming railway Project Department. "This is a kind of thinking. I feel something is missing when I don’t see the small blackboard one day. Although He Junxian left, it is gratifying that his little blackboard has stayed, and so has the good tradition.
