Latin American governments and regional organizations condemned the demonstrators for breaking into the Brazilian state power.

  Chilean President Boric wrote on Twitter that Bolsonaro supporters’ attacks on Brazil’s national authority are intolerable. "In the face of this cowardly and shameful attack on democracy, we fully support the Brazilian government."

  Cuban president Diaz-Canel said on Twitter: "We strongly condemn the violent and anti-democratic acts in Brazil, which are aimed at creating chaos and ignoring the will of the people to elect Lula as president."   Colombian President petro expressed his full support for Lula and the Brazilian people on Twitter.

  Ecuador’s President Lasso said on Twitter that these disrespectful and destructive acts against Brazil’s state power institutions undermined the democratic order and violated citizens’ safety.

  Venezuela’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a communique saying that it severely condemned the actions of some extreme right-wingers in Brazil that refused to recognize the election results, undermined the Constitution and threatened the stability and peace of the country, and reiterated its support for Lula’s government.

  Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs also strongly condemned this violence and expressed its support for Lula, opposing "any attempt to ignore the legality of the Brazilian presidential election in October 2022".

  The Bolivarian Alliance for the Americas (ALBA) issued a communiqué, in which it severely condemned the serious violence against state power institutions in Brazil, expressed support for the Brazilian government and people led by President Lula, and called on regional countries to be alert to all attempts to undermine the basic principles of democracy and always maintain respect for national laws, power institutions and election results.
