According to Al Jazeera, a spokesman for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on the 23rd that a ceasefire will start in Gaza at 7: 00 on the 24th. At 16: 00 on the same day, Hamas will release the first batch of Israeli hostages, including 13 women and children.
According to the Israel Times, the Israeli Prime Minister’s office confirmed the news and said that Israel has received a preliminary list of hostages expected to be released.
The Kasang Brigade, an armed faction affiliated to Hamas, also said that a ceasefire will start in the Gaza on the morning of 24th for four days, and a total of 50 Israeli hostages will be released. In exchange, for every Israeli hostage released by Hamas, Israel will release three Palestinian prisoners, totaling 150.
According to Reuters news, the Egyptian side said that during the ceasefire period, 200 aid trucks and 4 fuel trucks will enter the Gaza through the Rafah port every day.
