The new Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is launched as the performance flagship of the Panamera family
On July 18, Porsche today officially launched the new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, the performance flagship of the Panamera family, which has just regained the title of the fastest luxury car at the Nürburgring Nordring.
As the performance flagship of the Panamera family, this plug-in hybrid four-door sedan uses a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and motor combination, with a total output of 575 kW/782 horsepower and a peak torque of 999 Nm. It can accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.9 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds faster than the current Turbo E-Hybrid and on par with the Ferrari 296 GTB. The top speed is 325 kilometers per hour.
Like other Panamera E-Hybrid models, the Turbo S version is also equipped with a larger 25.9 kWh battery pack, which improves the pure electric range and charging speed. However, the official has not released the specific EPA battery life data.
In terms of appearance, apart from the logo on the rear bumper, the Turbo S E-Hybrid is nearly identical to the Turbo E-Hybrid models, both featuring exclusive Turbo kits and 21-inch center-locking wheels.
The optional carbon fiber aerodynamic package includes a front splitter, wind guide, side skirt, rear spoiler Gurney flap and rear diffuser, which not only enhances the appearance, but also generates 132 kilograms of downforce at 200 km/h. It was with this aerodynamic package and the optional Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres that the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid was able to create a lap time of 7 minutes, 24 seconds and 17 seconds at the Nürburgring North Circle.
The new car comes standard with Porsche Active Suspension, with electro-hydraulic pumps on each shock absorber. In addition, rear wheel steering and Porsche Ceramic Compound Braking System (PCCB) are also standard, with front brake discs measuring 440 mm and rear brake discs measuring 410 mm.
The 2025 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid has been pre-ordered and is expected to arrive at the end of Quarter 1 in 2025. As the top model of the Panamera family, it is naturally expensive, starting at $226,500 (
Remarks: Currently about 1.646 million RMB, excluding taxes, licensing, dealer fees and $1,995 payment).
